It is our first time trying this restaurant. I ordered red curry with chicken, medium spicy level and the curry is thick and very flavorful, unlike many other place where you often get watery thai curry. My husband ordered basil fried rice and it is tasty. Mango sticky rice and Thai Tea is also great, both not overwhelmingly sweet. Portion is decent, I have quite some curry left to pack home. The restaurant is kinda cute too. If you sit close to the door it might be a bit cold so just be aware and maybe choose a table closer to the bar in winter time (especially when there are people keep coming in and out, we happened to be there when the staffs were coming in and out bringing in ingredient orders so it was a bit chilly). Overall a great place and I would say it is definitely on the better end of Thai food scene in the area. Will be back again.

Absolutely loved this place! The restaurant itself is so beautiful! The food was so delicious and customer service was great! Highly recommend for couples for an intimate setting. We ordered the pad thai and drunken noodles. They were perfect!
I recently discovered Sanun Thai restaurant next to Bluegrass pizza on 92nd. I am a sucker for great Thai food so my wife and I decided to give it a chance. We were greeted promptly and seated without waiting, which was very nice since it was the middle of what is usually the dinner rush. We decided to begin with some chicken potstickers and summer rolls, both of which we have had previously, at other Thai restaurants so we knew what to expect. The potstickers were deep fried and crispy as opposed to boiled so I wasn’t a huge fan, but the summer rolls were excellent ,crisp and fresh with a wonderful peanut dipping sauce. We then decided on the Tom Kha soup and Pad Prik King with chicken, both were wonderful and had great complex flavors but were not spicey. We asked for them to be medium as far as spice level, and they were a little under that, so although they weren’t as spicy as we would like that is something that we can change in the future. We did find ourselves, wishing for some spice and condiments on the table, like Sriracha, or possibly a vinegar or chili sauce of some kind. But that being said, once we asked for those items they brought them to the table quickly. We then ordered hot saki-that unfortunately was Luke warm… the saki was very wonderful but hot saki is supposed to be hot. Once we brought this to the attention of the server, he seems slightly confused so there might’ve been a language barrier, but he did bring it back warmer than before, although still not hot. lol The small inconveniences were not enough to dissuade us from coming back, and the meal itself was quite wonderful. The service was good, but the atmosphere seems to be lacking authenticity. Overall, my wife and I both agreed the prices were a little expensive for what we got. In summation it is definitely worth your time if you enjoy Thai food and find yourself in the area.
1st time here and I really liked it. Nice atmosphere & decor and good light music. For lunch I had the spring rolls and the Tom Kha soup. The spring rolls were good. The Tom Kha soup was probably the best I’ve ever had. I ordered it mild with chicken, it had so much flavor! I’ll definitely be back and I’ll try their Pad Thai.
I didn’t expect much given the location, but seriously this was the most amazing yellow curry I’ve ever had! I always have a little to go salt shaker in my purse and usually end up using it on everything even if just a little. I did not even think about it once because the food was spiced to perfection and was super flavorful. My partner got pad see ewe and that was also absolutely amazing. We started with the unique tom yum, and guess what? Yup. Amazing.
Love love loved this place! So nice having something so good close to home! So beautiful inside and food was so flavorful and seasoned well! I had the drunken noodles with chicken and a Thai tea with coconut milk which was refreshing. 10/10 would recommend.
